Kakwi Thomas is a 5'7" defenseman for the Rideau St Lawrence Thunder U18 AA team. She's in 8th grade honor roll student at Massena Central School district, graduating in 2026.

Kakwi started playing hockey at the age of 4, started with boys hockey the Akwesasne Wolves, then switched to girls hockey with the Cornwall Typhoons she was always on the tier 1 team with them and made provincials each year she played. When covid hit she transferred to USA hockey to play with the Adirondack 46ers 16u. They had a great season winning some tournaments, placing second at States and being invited to Nationals. Kakwi is a strong solid  defensive player makes strong heads up passes. Looking forward to a great season with her new team.
