Jordyn is an academic grade 12 student, who is on the honour roll at Thousand Islands Secondary School in Brockville. She began her hockey career at the age of 5 in the Christian Hockey League, then after two seasons made the switch to girl’s hockey. Jordyn has been recognized by her coaches for her commitment, sportsmanship, coachability, and leadership on and off the ice throughout the years. She has been awarded both Assistant and Captain roles throughout her years of play. One of Jordyn’s proudest accomplishments is to say that she has qualified for the OWHA Provincials 6 years in a row. Jordyn’s strongest on-ice skills include smart play making, strong passes and proper positioning. Outside of hockey, Jordyn enjoys playing competitive school sports. She plays soccer, volleyball, badminton, cross country, and track and field. During her school sports, she is also recognized by teachers for her leadership and coachability. Jordyn does a lot of volunteer work; her favourite being done with the Maitland Soccer Program. Whether it be helping set up nets, pumping up balls, or coaching a team, the best part is seeing the kids with a smile on their face. Jordyn has logged over 300 hours within the past 6 seasons of volunteering with the Maitland Soccer Program. This past summer Jordyn was employed at Carefree Pools and enjoyed providing customer service and plans to return next season.  After high school, Jordyn would like to study sports Medicine and become a physiotherapist or an athletic trainer.
