We have a Winner

With the season over for the Bantam BB team permission was granted for their net minder, Alison Murrin, to affiliate with an Under 14 team from south of the border. The Adirondack 46ers, named after the number of mountains in excess of 4000 feet that exist in the Adirondack High Peaks area of New York State, have played our Bantam squad in a couple of exhibitions in recent months. They clearly liked what they saw between our pipes and when their own goalie was unable to participate they approached us to pick-up Alison. Needless to say she did us proud and helped take them through to the semis and finals, in both cases holding her nerve through overtime to run out a winner, 2 v 1, against Nepean Black and Barre Mapplewood respectively.
